Following on from the decision by the United Kingdom Rocketry Association to withdraw all support for the UKAYROC contest, Rocket Store is also following their decision.

From a commercial angle the UKAYROC contest (UK version of TARC) has faced some serious problems ever since its introduction. Rocket Store and other vendors have done our best to support the contest, but unfortunately it has been an uphill struggle. This year has proved very difficult with many schools very frustrated at not being able to get parts or their designed motor due to the organisers not passing on information given to them by UKRA from vendors.

Rocket Store has always found it odd that the organisers don't talk to the vendors supplying the parts for the contest. As the only authorised dealer for Aerotech and the only rocket company able to ship many rocket motors in the UK we have always been bemused that the organisers don't liaise with us in order to ensure the motors are at least available.

It is therefore with great regret that Rocket Store is withdrawing all support for the contest. Of course we will supply parts to UKAYROC teams to the best of our ability if they require them.
