The NASA LCROSS project is almost complete and at 11am tomorrow a rocket will be fired from the shepherding vehicle into the surface of the moon. The shepherding vehicle will then plunge towards the surface analysing the debris thrown up by the rocket. Maybe then we will know if there really is water ice on the moon.
