This year the UKAYROC contest has some interesting changes, one of which is bringing down the maximum motor impulse from a G to an F motor. With the cost of an Aerotech F motor being only approx £9 compared to a cluster of Estes D motors costing £16, this year may see many more AP motors being used.

In order for motors to be available for testing early next year we need to place our order towards the end of this year. Due to a possible 2 month lead time, we have decided to use the 1st December 2009 as the order deadline for Aerotech motors. Any orders placed after this will more than likely not be fulfilled unless we have spare stock.

We cannot therefore impress the importance enough for teams to start designing and come up with a motor choice ASAP. We must have your order by the 1st Dec to ensure we are able to get your motors in time.
